Cuddle Workshop - "Friends, Enemies, and Strangers"

Our lovely Cuddle Workshops in the "MEDITATIONS" series continue on November 30, 2005, starting at 5 pm. This time, our topic will be "Friends, Enemies, and Strangers." Based on the famous Tibetan Buddhist Equanimity meditation, we will playfully observe how we relate to friends (those we feel attached to), enemies (those we feel aversion towards), and strangers (those we feel indifferent towards) - and see how subjective these categories are, which can be overcome by the deeper understanding of each beings' inherent desire for happiness. In the spirit of the Cuddle Workshops, we'll do that in a joyful, fun way, through many exercises that will allow us to connect non-verbally.

The Cuddle Workshops offer a special place to experience Platonic touch, explore non-verbal communication, and build connections that are deep, meaningful, and heartfelt. Some describe the experience as swimming in a sea of love. Touch releases oxytocin, the happiness hormone, which, combined with the safety of an inclusive, non-judgmental place, gives the feeling of swimming in a sea of love.

November 30, 2025, at 5 pm.

From 5 pm to 5.30 pm, we will have a round of 'meet and mingle' where we share tea, sandwiches, and snacks and let ourselves arrive gently. At 5.30 we'll open the cuddle space with a brief meditation, please do not arrive later than that.

The workshop lasts until 8.30. At half-time, we will have a break with a little buffet. If you like, you may contribute some vegetarian snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, which are greatly appreciated.
