But over the past few months what I've noticed during my coaching sessions is that people begin to adapt to others and lose themselves in relationships for very different reasons. Interestingly, these patterns become surprisingly easy to recognize through movie and TV series characters. For example, some people: -fear being "too much" for others, -feel responsible for saving everyone around them, -believe they're only a "good person" if they're always kind, agreeable, and easy to be around, -or have become so accustomed to suppressing their own needs that they've convinced themselves they don't have any. That's why I've created a full-day, small-group workshop where we'll explore these patterns through playful yet meaningful self-awareness exercises.
