A hősiesség, végzet, megdicsőülés eszmeköréhez kapcsolódó Beethoven-esten Héja Domonkos a Coriolan nyitány és a Sors melléknéven ismert 5. szimfónia mellett a szerző Hármasversenyét vezényli. Amikor bő száz évvel ezelőtt, 1917-ben, Dohnányi Ernő két egymást követő koncerten eljátszotta Beethoven mind az öt zongoraversenyét, műsorát a Hármasverseny előadásával koronázta meg, egy korabeli beszámoló szerint Beethovenhez illő lendülettel. A fiatalos lendületet ezúttal sem kell majd nélkülöznünk, az est szólistái harmincas éveihez közeledő, ragyogó muzsikusok lesznek, a hegedűművész Stark János Mátyás, a csellista Devich Gergely és Ránki Fülöp, zongorista. Az immár Trio Haris néven is koncertező és mind népszerűbb formáció évek óta dolgozik és koncertezik együtt, megszólaltatva a kamarairodalom olyan nagyszerű darabjait, mint amilyenek Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Sosztakovics vagy Ravel zongorás triói.

HEROISM. DESTINY. GLORIFICATION.

At this Beethoven evening dedicated to the themes of heroism, destiny and glorification, Domonkos Héja will conduct “Coriolan Overture” and “Symphony No. 5”, also known as “Fate Symphony,” as well as the great composer’s “Triple Concerto”. When Ernő Dohnányi played all five of Beethoven’s piano concertos at two consecutive concerts in 1917, the highlight of this programme was Dohnányi’s performance of “Triple Concerto” staged with musical verve befitting Beethoven, as a contemporary review describes. This time, again, we will not have to do without youthful verve as the soloists of the evening will be highly-acclaimed musicians nearing their 30s: the audience will be hearing violinist János Mátyás Stark, cellist Gergely Devich and pianist Fülöp Ránki. Currently performing under the name Trio Haris, this increasingly popular musical ensemble has been working and performing together for years playing such great pieces of chamber music as piano trios by Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Shostakovich and Ravel.
