Sue Foley is a multi-award-winning blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose latest release, One Guitar Woman: A Tribute to the Female Pioneers of Guitar, earned a 2025 Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Blues Album. A master of tone and touch, Foley blends fiery Texas blues with elegant fingerstyle playing, honoring trailblazers from Maybelle Carter to Sister Rosetta Tharpe while sounding unmistakably her own. After relocating from Canada to Austin and signing with Antone’s Records, she emerged as a vital force in modern blues, touring worldwide and sharing stages with legends like B.B. King and Buddy Guy. A five-time Blues Music Award winner and respected music scholar, Foley’s performances radiate grit, grace, and a deep sense of musical purpose.
