Thursday 7th May will also feature Ben WestonAbout this EventPeter & Mark Edwards with Band + The Straight LacesAfter 9 years at the helm and a fixture on The Mitre's music scene long before that, Landlord Peter Edwards is leaving the pub this summer. Pete is determined to go out in the only way that seems right, with NOW THREE stunning nights of music joined by some of Buckingham's finest.With his brother Mark they will play this additional and opening night of the run just the two of them, on baby grand and drums, with support from the brilliant Ben Weston from Firing Line.We'll also have a BBQ to raise money for Peter's charity, Mitre Impact (www.mitreimpact.com) which supports local families in and around Buckingham.140 tickets are available for FREE in advance of the gig, with 60 available on the door. These tickets only guarrantee entry up until 9pm, after which entry will be open to all, with a 1 in 1 out system once we reach capacity.PLEASE: If you're unable to come but have already booked a ticket, please release it for others to come and enjoy the nightThe other gigs will be on Friday 8th May joined by THE STRAIGHT LACES and on Friday 15th May, joined by THE CANTELLS.
