Join us for a relaxed and immersive Camp and Trail Mantrailing weekend, where you and your dog can enjoy scentwork during the day and the camping atmosphere in the evening.

Set in the peaceful countryside of Buckinghamshire, this event brings together dog handlers who enjoy working their dogs while also enjoying the social side of camping.

What to Expect

Over the weekend you and your dog will take part in structured Mantrailing exercises, designed for both beginners and progressing teams. Each trail will help build your dog’s confidence in following human scent while you learn how to read your dog and handle the line effectively.

The environment around Hedgehogs Retreat offers a great mix of terrain and scent challenges, allowing dogs to work through different surfaces and conditions while strengthening the bond between dog and handler.

When the trailing is finished for the day, you can relax back at the campsite with fellow handlers, share stories from the trails, and enjoy the friendly community atmosphere that these weekends are known for.

Please note that fire pits are not permitted on site due to a previous incident. This is a site rule and helps ensure the continued use of the venue for future events.
