? Come along to our free community Gala Day at Loch Soy in Portsoy on Saturday 30 August from 12noon - 5pm. A variety of community stalls, children’s activities, bouncy inflatables, face painting, catering stalls, games, fancy dress competition and more ?

? Join Shetland’s Up Helly Aa Viking Squads and local pipe bands in a Torchlit Procession through Portsoy with a grand finale galley burning by the Old Harbour. It’s free to take part and spectate along the route. A limited number of authentic Up Helly Aa torches are available to buy online now, £12 + booking fee ? 

? Join the Vikings and Galik Bred ceilidh band for a lively family ceilidh at the Tattie Sheds in Portsoy, all welcome.  Under 5s free, Children 5-17 years £5 + booking fee, Adults aged 18+ years £10 + booking fee. Sponsored by Hamlyns Scottish Porridge Oats and Oatmeal
