Welcome the Winter Wellbeing Day
Hannah - Purely Nourishing (www.purelynourishing.co.uk) and Gina - Yoga Sunshine (www.yogasunshine.co.uk) have joined forces to create the perfect retreat day.
As the winter season approaches it's time to nourish and strengthen your body and mind to embrace the magic of the colder months. Our "Welcome the Winter Wellbeing Day" is a restorative day retreat designed to help you prepare for winter by energising and nurturing your body boosting your immune system and fostering inner calm.
The day begins with an invigorating yoga session to awaken your body accompanied by a delicious cacao drink and energising energy balls. Next dive into a hands-on fermenting workshop where you’ll learn how to strengthen your gut and immune system through the power of fermented foods.
A nourishing plant-based lunch will follow, offering a chance to relax and explore. The afternoon provides a deeply relaxing Yin Yoga and breath techniques to ease tension, overwhelm and enhance mindfulness. To close the day you'll participate in a group activity where you’ll create a powerful immune-boosting tonic to take home keeping you prepared and supported throughout the season.

Winter Wellbeing Day – Activity Overview:
1. Energising Yoga – Restore & Revive Start the day with an energizing yoga session to awaken and restore your body, setting positive energy for the day.
2. Nourishing Cacao & Energy Balls – Immune Boost & Connection Enjoy a warm, immune-boosting cacao and delicious energy balls while chatting with other attendees.
3. Fermenting Workshop & Gut Health Talk – Immune Support Learn practical fermentation techniques and the importance of gut health for immunity and well-being in this hands-on workshop.
4. Plant-Based Lunch & Reflection Enjoy a nourishing plant-based lunch with time to relax, chat, or take a peaceful walk by the river.
5. Relaxing Yoga & Breathwork – Relax & Heal A deeply relaxing Yin Yoga and breath techniques to ease tension, overwhelm and enhance mindfulness. As we begin transitioning from The Earth to The Water Element in the Traditional Chinese Medicine system, lets charge the associated kidneys and bladder meridians.
6. Winter Tonic Making – Immune Support Create a natural winter tonic to boost your immune system and take home for winter wellness.
This day is designed to leave you feeling nourished, energised, and ready to embrace winter.
*** NB – Please bring a yoga mat and a blanket. If you don’t have one do let us know and we’ll supply one.
This will be a small group retreat with only 15 places available.
