- **Event Description**: The latest project from highly acclaimed saxophonist and composer Steve Buckley featuring three of the UK’s top jazz/world music players: Mike Outram on Guitar, Jihad Darwish on Bass and JeM Fatna on Drums.

Steve has been a significant contributor to the UK jazz scene for over thirty years. He was an original member of the ground breaking big band Loose Tubes going on to perform and record with many of the UK’s top jazz players nationally and internationally, as well as leading his own projects. He is probably best known for his collaborations with trumpeter Chris Batchelor, their award winning 2005 album Big Air being considered “the best UK jazz album for 20 years” by Brian Morton in Jazz Journal.

Expect to hear groove-oriented original material reflecting Steve’s long-standing and deep connection with African and Latin American music all imbued with a contemporary jazz attitude.
