In the year that marks the 40th anniversary of his unofficial debut at the Costinești Jazz Festival (at the invitation of Garbis Dedeian, who would later on become his teacher), saxophonist Iordache is planning a series of more special concerts.
These will include compositions from the 8 albums on which he appears as a leader, and several from the upcoming album, which will conclude a triptych dedicated to the Titan neighborhood (the first two were Suite Titan and Zeuții - based on poems by Florin Dumitrescu).
The concert is called ”Spaces” after a very important concept in jazz, namely that of leaving free spaces, where improvisation "can breathe".


[RO] În anul când se împlinesc 40 de ani de la debutul său neoficial la Festivalul de Jazz de la Costinești (la invitația lui Garbis Dedeian, care avea să-i devină profesor) saxofonistul Iordache are în plan o serie de concerte mai speciale.
Acestea vor cuprinde compoziții de pe cele opt albume pe care apare ca lider, și câteva de pe viitorul album, care va încheia un triptic dedicat cartierului Titan (primele două au fost Suita Titan și Zeuții - după poeme de Florin Dumitrescu).
Concertul se numește Spaces - “spații” - după un concept foarte important în muzica de jazz, și anume acela de a lăsa locuri libere, unde improvizația “să poată respira”.
