The Digital Marketing Workshop aims to provide the basic digital marketing skills to a wide range of professionals who need to better understand this topic in their line of work, be they digital experts specialized on a niche digital marketing topic or business professionals/entrepreneurs whose work is significantly impacted by digital marketing.

The Digital Marketing Workshop covers a wide range of topics, such as: market landscape, strategy & planning, relevant KPI’s, web technologies, information architecture & content strategy, search engine marketing, digital advertising, marketing automation and e-commerce.

Daniel has more than 15 years of digital experience, with the past 8 years working directly in the online industry in various roles.

Before joining Burda Romania as Chief Digital Officer in 2016, Daniel was the Head of Marketing for Avandor, a local digital consumer audience profiling start-up poised to go global, where Daniel was involved in marketing, business and product development.

Prior to that, Daniel was the Head of P&G Digital within MediaCom Romania, leading P&G’s digital media strategy across 9 Balkan markets. Daniel has also digital publishing and project management experience, having worked as Digital Publisher for realitatea.net, a leading local news portal, as well as Digital Project Manager for Grapefruit, a local digital branding agency.

Daniel has both an MBA and an MSc in IT Management from the Central European University Business School, as well as a BA in Journalism - Mass Communication from the American University in Bulgaria.

Ioana has over 10 years of experience in international B2B marketing, business development & account management in IT, telecoms and banking.

Ioana is currently Marketing Head for a UK based IT professional services venture capital that consolidates IT companies from Eastern Europe - Ioana is consulting and advising various group companies on go to market, strategic marketing or tactical approach in marketing campaigns. Before this, Ioana was International Marketing Head for a leading telecoms software company. In the last 6 years Ioana was involved in various marketing consultancy projects for Eastern European IT/Professional Services companies and went through the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Professional Diploma in Marketing program.
