The Workshop opens its doors to doctoral students from different countries, encouraging the presentation of scientific papers on the aspects of tradition and modernity in public and private comparative law, as well as public and private international law, European Union, international trade law and international arbitration. The Workshop also promotes research into issues related to the international legal cooperation, the development of elements of convergence between legal systems and the globalization of law, as well as the legal issues that transcend national borders and combine the theoretical with the empirical in case studies.
