🌈 Join us for play, connection and fun at the Northern Beaches Community Hall!
Special Guests:
- Child Health Nurse from Queensland Health for anyone wanting to do a weigh, measure or ask any questions. Remember your red book if wanting to do the weigh and measure of your little ones.
We'll have Miss Amy from Bucasia SS and the team from Goodstart Rural View helping to bring the playgroup magic. We will have some of our new volunteer facilitators leading the sessions over the coming weeks - let's remember to keep supporting each other, particularly at pack up time - many hands make light work.
9:00am - Doors open for a group set up from this time onwards.
9:15am - Let the play begin...hooray!
10:45am - Storytime and singalongs
10:55am - Group pack up
11:15am - High 5s and stickers to wrap up the session #teamwork
We’ll have all our usual sensory, invitations to play, craft and active play stations, books, imaginative play, puzzles and construction available.
What to bring: Hat, waterbottle, sunscreen, your own morning tea + helping hands 👏🏻. We kindly ask for a $3 donation per family per session or $15 per family for the term if that's an easier option for you (cash or card available). This donation funds our consumables for the play, ingredients and cleaning etc. The session is free for Children Under 12 months.
Please remember to sign up to become a FREE member with Play Matters via their website and to check in on arrival by scanning the QR Code or signing the attendance sheet. This is a requirement of our affiliation and insurance. Thanks in advance. This is not required at Gather & Play sessions.
🌟 Reminder - your children are 100% your responsibility 👀. Please keep hot drinks out of reach and we encourage families to be seated whilst eating and not on the direct play equipment or spaces. Find a spot off to the side or enjoy one of the rugs outdoors.

COMMUNITY playgroup = Many hands make light work - please remember to assist us with keeping the play spaces safe, tidy, resetting the area as you go and being part of the set up and pack up process at the end where possible 💗💗
