We’re so excited to invite you to a special Children’s Week celebration at Bucasia Esplanade! 🏖️ Come along for a morning of fun, connection, and activities celebrating the importance of children’s rights.
✨ Special Guests & Highlights:
🤸 Active Squirtz Session – Let’s get our bodies moving and use our “broccoli muscles” in this fun, active playtime!
📚 Parker the Mobile Library Van – Dive into books, stories, and imagination.
🎶 Children’s Musical Show by Kathleen Campbell – Songs, stories, and a whole lot of joy for kids and families.
🎉 Big Thanks to Children’s Rights Queensland for proudly supporting this Children’s Week event through their grants program. We’re so grateful for your support in making this possible. 💖
💡 This year’s Children’s Week theme promotes Article 42 – Everyone should know about children’s rights, highlighting the importance of children and adults alike being aware of these rights.
☀️ What to Bring:
Picnic rugs, hats, water bottles, sunscreen and sand toys.
Your own morning tea + a helping hand to pitch in 👏🏻
A $3 donation per family (where possible) towards our Community Playgroup is very much appreciated. 💗
✅ Important Info:
Date & Time: Friday 24 October, 9:30 am – 11:30 am.
Membership & Sign-In: Please sign up as a FREE member with Play Matters via their website, and check in on arrival by scanning the QR code or signing the attendance sheet. This helps with our affiliation and insurance.
Safety Reminder: Your children are 100% your responsibility at all times. Please keep hot drinks out of reach and encourage families to eat off the play equipment.
🌟 Community Playgroup = Many hands make light work! Please help us keep the play spaces tidy, safe, and assist with set-up and pack-up where possible.
