About the event

THE LEOPARD (1963)

The discovery of a dead soldier in their garden heralds changing times for an aging Sicilian prince (Burt Lancaster) and his dashing nephew (Alain Delon) as the movement for unification sweeps away the Italy they know. Martin Scorsese counts this dazzling historical epic among cinema’s greatest works.

This screening is presented in conjunction with a Cinema Classics Seminar taught by Maurizio Giammarco, Ph.D.
