ATLANTICS (2019)

Though betrothed to a wealthy man, a Senegalese woman is haunted by the memory of her true love, who disappeared at sea while trying to cross into Europe—until a series of strange phenomena suggests that his presence has returned. Winner of the Grand Prix at Cannes, Atlantics is part social realism, part phantasmagoria, and wholly unforgettable.
