This event is presented by American Farmland Trust as part of their Texas Grazing Network workshop series, and it will be facilitated by the Texas A&M Range Club. Come join the pasture walk and learn to recognize key forage species, common weeds, and indicators of pasture health. Attendees will learn simple identification cues along with how each plant relates to grazing management, soil health, and productivity.It's free to attend for FVC members but space is limited. Please register only if certain you'll attend so we don't lose a spot that could go to someone else. The schedule is still be worked out but expect to meet at the farm in the morning. Wear closed toe shoes and attire appropriate for walking around pastures in the sun. Lunch will be provided and we'll contact you prior to the event with details.
