Trained in London and Florence, he now works between Somerset and Venice, exhibiting internationally. In this talk, he reflects on the legacy of portraiture and its power to capture the essence of human existence.
Alongside painting, Nick works across media: he makes art films and documentaries, hosts the podcast The Lives Of The Artists in conversation with leading figures in the art world, and runs the hugely popular Instagram page Portrait Paintings Daily, a focal point for contemporary portraiture.
