Depuis leur apparition en 2007 avec Strange House, The Horrors n’ont cessé de brouiller les pistes. Passant du garage gothique à la cold wave, du shoegaze à l’électro-indus, le quintette britannique mené par Faris Badwan s’est imposé comme l’un des groupes les plus audacieux de la scène rock anglaise. Avec des albums marquants comme Primary Colours (produit par Geoff Barrow de Portishead) ou Skying, ils redéfinissent à chaque sortie les contours de leur univers sonore, entre distorsions planantes, nappes synthétiques et tensions post-punk. 

Après plusieurs années de silence, Faris Badwan, Rhys Webb et Amelia Kidd revisitent l’univers de The Horrors avec Night Life Reconstructed, une relecture immersive et radicale du sixième album du groupe. Le trio entamera une tournée européenne exclusive en septembre 2025, mêlant morceaux cultes et réinventions audacieuses dans un format conçu pour la scène. Une date au Botanique à ne pas manquer !

Sinds hun debuut in 2007 met ‘Strange House’ hebben The Horrors voortdurend de grenzen verlegd. Het Britse vijftal onder leiding van Faris Badwan zweeft van gothic garage naar cold wave, van shoegaze naar electro-industrial, en heeft zich zo geprofileerd als een van de meest gedurfde bands van de Engelse rockscene. Met opvallende albums als ‘Primary Colours’ – geproduceerd door Geoff Barrow van Portishead – en ‘Skying’ herdefiniëren ze bij elke release de contouren van hun sound, tussen zweverige vervormingen, synthetische klanken en post-punk-spanningen.

Na enkele jaren van stilte keren Badwan, Rhys Webb en Amelia Kidd terug naar het universum van The Horrors met ‘Night Life Reconstructed’, een meeslepende en radicale herinterpretatie van het zesde album van de groep. Het trio begint in september 2025 aan een exclusieve Europese tournee, waarin cultnummers en gedurfde heruitvindingen worden gecombineerd in een format dat speciaal voor het podium is ontworpen. Een niet te missen concert in de Botanique!
