« The Extremists – Joe Satriani Tribute

I hear some of you saying « hey, that’s NOT another tribute band, it’s a Joe Satriani Tribute ! … nice ! ».
And they’re right because …
It’s all about passion : passion of music, passion of rock and passion of great guitar work.
« The Extremists – Joe Satriani Tribute » is a Belgian power trio, from Kortrijk, Westvlanderen, who all share the passion of this great musician, « the teacher’s teachers » like he was used to be called in San Francisco back in the 80’s. Joe Satriani, like you probably know, was the teacher of Steve Vai, Kirk Hammet and Alex Skolnick, just to name a few. Paying tribute to such a monument of rock guitar is a great honor and … lot’s of work !
You will hear some big hits like Surfin’ with the Alien, Summer Song, Always with me Always with you, Circles, One big Rush, Whormhole Wizard, etc … they all are highlighted in their energized tribute.

het is een Joe Satriani Tribute!" …Leuk! ".
En ze hebben gelijk want...
Het draait allemaal om passie: passie voor muziek,
passie voor rock en passie voor geweldig gitaarwerk.
“The Extremists – Joe Satriani Tribute” is een Belgisch powertrio,
afkomstig uit Kortrijk, West-Vlaanderen,
die allemaal de passie delen van deze grote muzikant,
“the teacher’s teachers” zoals hij in de jaren 80 in San Francisco werd genoemd.
Joe Satriani was, zoals je waarschijnlijk weet, de leraar van Steve Vai,
Kirk Hammet en Alex Skolnick, om er maar een paar te noemen.
Hulde brengen aan zo'n monument van rockgitaar is een grote eer en … heel veel werk!
Je hoort enkele grote hits zoals Surfin' with the Alien, Summer Song,
Always with me Always with you, Circles, One big Rush,
Whormhole Wizard, etc... ze komen allemaal aan bod in hun energieke eerbetoon.
