Self compassion helps us to give ourselves the same good will and kindness that we extend to others. It helps to create a breathing space, and a sense of perspective. We become more resourced to handle our challenges. We find more presence of mind, greater awareness and more kindness towards ourselves. Self compassion builds inner resources, so that we can then better deal with the situation at hand.

In this workshop you will learn simple tools to help you through life’s challenges. You will build your resources to better appreciate positive moments and find mote kindness for yourself. You will become better equipped to deal with challenging situations. You will learn the core components of self-compassion, find out why it works and how it can help you deal with stress in your life.
The workshop will have a theoretical part with explanations, experiential exercises and sharing with other participants to integrate the learning.

I trained in Mindful self Compassion with Kristin Neff and Chris Germer in 2012, and I currently give Self Compassion Trainings at the European Commission and elsewhere.
Self compassion work has helped me find much needed distance and a sense of perspective in challenging relationships. I am kinder to myself, more present and available with the people I care most about. I have learnt to makes friends with even the most challenging parts of myself.
My work draws on diverse techniques that I have used on my own personal development journey. I have been running personal and professional development workshops since 1999.
