Pool Kids débute en jouant dans le circuit des house shows de Tallahassee. Le groupe séduit Hayley Williams, chanteuse de Paramore, avec son premier album, Music to Practice Safe Sex To, sorti en 2018. Après s’être agrandi pour former un quatuor - Andy Anaya à la guitare, Nicolette Alvarez à la basse, Caden Clinton à la batterie et Christine Goodwyne à la guitare et au chant - leur album éponyme de 2022 a été salué par la critique pour son mélange luxuriant et contrasté de pop, d’emo et de math rock.

Une puissante solidarité résonne tout au long de leur nouvel album Easier Said Than Done, dans l’interaction dynamique entre les guitares de Goodwyne et Anaya, dans les lignes de basse envoûtantes d’Alvarez, dans les rythmes tourbillonnants de Clinton à la batterie. Les Pool Kids s’unissent pour former une force cohérente, se propulsant vers une libération durement gagnée. Pool Kids begon met optredens in het house shows-circuit van Tallahassee. De band maakte indruk op Hayley Williams, zangeres van Paramore, met hun eerste album, ‘Music to Practice Safe Sex to’, dat in 2018 uitkwam.
