Après avoir participé, en tant que soliste, à des projets prestigieux, notamment au Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, l’auteur-compositeur bruxellois LYLAC (Amaury Massion) revient au-devant de la scène présenter son sixième album à la sensibilité désarmante et onirique, toujours porté par des sonorités americana et indie folk.

Cet album marque un tournant dans le parcours du chanteur globe trotteur déjà multi nominé pour ses précédents albums. En effet, c’est en français uniquement que LYLAC pose cette fois sa voix envoutante sur ces nouvelles chansons, nous emportent dans un périple poétique et engagé. C’est suite à sa rencontre il y a quelques années avec Francis Cabrel, que l’idée avait lentement germé d’écrire des chansons en français. LYLAC nous y partage sans pudeur ses rêves d’ailleurs, ses émotions intimes, ses peurs, ses joies, naviguant entre introspection et militantisme citoyen. Cet artiste nomade nous invite à se reconnecter à nous-mêmes et au monde troublé qui nous entoure. Portés par sa voix chaleureuse et ultra sensible, ces nouveaux titres résonnent comme des invitations à prendre la route, la guitare à la main, le nez en l’air, les yeux grands ouverts. Sa musique prend nos émotions au dépourvu au travers d’un songwriting sobre d’où se dégage une puissante énergie, toujours accompagnée de lignes de violoncelle lumineuses et virtuoses, empruntes de néo-classicisme.

LYLAC continue donc sa quête obstinée et romantique, afin de nous souffler sa vérité telle une confession qui résonne au plus près de nos cœurs.

Na als solist aan prestigieuze projecten te hebben meegewerkt, onder meer in het Koninklijk Theater La Monnaie, keert de Brusselse singer-songwriter LYLAC (Amaury Massion) terug naar de voorgrond om zijn zesde album te presenteren, dat gekenmerkt wordt door een ontwapenende en dromerige gevoeligheid, nog steeds gedragen door americana- en indie folkklanken. Dit album markeert een keerpunt in de carrière van de globetrottende zanger, die al meerdere keren genomineerd werd voor zijn vorige albums. LYLAC zingt deze keer namelijk uitsluitend in het Frans en neemt ons mee op een poëtische en geëngageerde reis met zijn betoverende stem.

Na zijn ontmoeting met Francis Cabrel enkele jaren geleden ontstond langzaam het idee om liedjes in het Frans te schrijven. LYLAC deelt daar zonder schroom zijn dromen van elders, zijn intieme emoties, zijn angsten en zijn vreugde, waarbij hij laveert tussen introspectie en burgeractivisme. Deze nomadische artiest nodigt ons uit om opnieuw contact te maken met onszelf en met de onrustige wereld om ons heen. Gedragen door zijn warme en uiterst gevoelige stem klinken deze nieuwe nummers als uitnodigingen om op pad te gaan, met de gitaar in de hand, de neus in de lucht en de ogen wijd open.
