Le fragile cessez-le-feu entré en vigueur au début du mois d’octobre est une bonne nouvelle, qui permet d’entrevoir la fin du cauchemar absolu en cours depuis plus de deux ans dans la bande de Gaza. Cependant, aucune paix durable ne sera possible tant que les droits du peuple palestinien ne seront pas garantis — en particulier ses droits à l’autodétermination, au retour et à une réparation complète. Aucune paix durable ne sera possible tant qu’Israël ne mettra pas fin à son régime colonial d’apartheid.

Le plan Trump, salué par la communauté internationale, y compris par des pays occidentaux tels que la Belgique, ne répond à aucune de ces conditions. Au contraire, il prévoit le maintien sous tutelle coloniale des Palestiniens. Par ailleurs, les violations par Israël des termes de l’accord, comme la poursuite des bombardements et du chantage humanitaire comme arme de guerre, ne sont pas de nature à stopper le génocide en cours.

Nous poursuivons donc notre mobilisation pour la justice pour le peuple palestinien, ce tant que continueront l’occupation illégale, l’apartheid et le colonialisme israélien, et tant que les responsables du génocide à Gaza et leurs complices n’auront pas répondu de leurs crimes.

La déstabilisation de la région et la souffrance de ses peuples ne prendront pas fin avec la signature de plans d’inspiration coloniale, mais par des mesures concrètes pour forcer Israël à se plier à ses obligations :

- mettre fin à la colonisation et démanteler toutes ses colonies ; 
- mettre fin au blocus illégal de Gaza et permettre l’accès sans entrave à l’aide humanitaire pour ses habitants; 
- se retirer du Territoire palestinien occupé ;
- démanteler le système d’apartheid des deux côtés de la ligne verte ;
- garantir le droit au retour des réfugiés ;
- libérer tous les prisonniers palestiniens détenus pour des raisons politiques;
- indemniser les victimes palestiniennes.

? Rassemblons-nous pour la marche nationale le 16 novembre à 14h, à la Gare du Nord de Bruxelles, pour exiger du gouvernement belge :

● L’imposition, conjointement avec les gouvernements régionaux, d’un embargo militaire complet sur Israël, incluant l’interdiction de toute exportation, transfert, transit ou réexportation d’armes, de munitions, de technologies et d’équipements militaires — qu’ils soient directs ou indirects — ainsi que de tout service lié (recherche, etc.) ;

● L’interdiction de toute relation commerciale ou d’investissement contribuant au maintien de l’occupation illégale de la Palestine par Israël, comme stipulé par la Cour internationale de Justice, ainsi que de tout partenariat — y compris les marchés publics — avec des entreprises complices de violations des droits humains et du droit international dans les territoires palestiniens occupés ;

● Le soutien à la suspension immédiate de l’Accord d’association entre l’Union européenne et Israël ;

● L’application de tous les mandats d’arrêt émis par la Cour pénale internationale et la poursuite, en vertu du droit belge, des responsables de crimes de guerre ;

● L’imposition de sanctions ciblées (interdiction de voyager, gel des avoirs, interdiction de transactions financières) contre les personnes et entités complices de violations des droits humains et du droit international dans le territoire palestinien occupé ;

● La reconnaissance du génocide à Gaza et du régime d’apartheid imposé au peuple palestinien ;

● Le soutien à la reconstruction de Gaza dans le respect du droit à l’autodétermination des Palestiniens ;

● La défense des droits des réfugiés palestiniens en Belgique, y compris leur liberté d’expression et de réunion pacifique.

 ? Les organisateurs/organisatrices appellent les participant·es à respecter ces mots d'ordre et à manifester pacifiquement.

? Toute apologie de crimes de guerre, d’attaques contre des civil·es ou toute manifestation d’antisémitisme, d’islamophobie et de toute autre forme de racisme entraînera une exclusion du rassemblement.

Het fragiele staakt-het-vuren dat begin oktober van kracht werd, is goed nieuws en biedt een glimp van een mogelijk einde aan de absolute nachtmerrie die al meer dan twee jaar aan de gang is in de Gazastrook. Echter, er zal geen duurzame vrede bereikt worden zolang de rechten van het Palestijnse volk niet worden gegarandeerd — in het bijzonder hun rechten op zelfbeschikking, terugkeer en een volledige compensatie voor de Palestijnse slachtoffers. Er zal geen duurzame vrede zijn zolang Israël koloniale apartheid en praktijken van bezetting blijft opleggen en handhaven.

Het Trump-plan, dat wordt geprezen door de internationale gemeenschap, waaronder westerse landen zoals België, voldoet aan geen van deze voorwaarden. Integendeel, het voorziet in het voortzetten van de koloniale voogdij over de Palestijnen. Bovendien draagt het voortdurende schenden van de afspraken door Israël — zoals het voortzetten van bombardementen en het inzetten van humanitaire chantage als oorlogswapen — niet bij tot het stoppen van het genocide.

Daarom blijven we mobiliseren voor gerechtigheid voor het Palestijnse volk, zolang de illegale bezetting, apartheid en kolonialisme van Israël voortduren — en zolang de verantwoordelijken voor de genocide in Gaza en hun medeplichtigen niet ter verantwoording zijn geroepen voor hun misdaden.

De destabilisering van de regio en de elende van haar bevolking zullen niet eindigen door het ondertekenen van koloniale plannen, maar door concrete maatregelen die Israël dwingen zijn verplichtingen na te komen:

- Beëindiging van de kolonisatie en ontmanteling van alle nederzettingen;
- Beëindiging van de blokkade van Gaza en onbelemmerde toegang tot humanitaire hulp voor haar inwoners;
- Terugtrekking uit het bezette Palestijnse gebied;
- Ontmanteling van het apartheidsysteem aan beide zijden van de Groene Lijn;
- Garanderen van het recht op terugkeer voor vluchtelingen;
- Vrijlating van alle politieke gevangenen;
- Schadeloosstelling voor Palestijnse slachtoffers.

? Kom met ons mee betogen tijdens de nationale mars op 16 november om 14u aan station Brussel-Noord, om van de Belgische regering het volgende te eisen:

● Een algeheel militair embargo op Israël, in samenwerking met de regionale overheden, inclusief een verbod op export, overdracht, doorvoer of wederuitvoer van wapens, munitie, technologieën en militair materieel — zowel direct als indirect — evenals aanverwante diensten (zoals onderzoek, enz.);

● Een verbod op alle handels- en investeringsrelaties die bijdragen aan het in stand houden van de illegale Israëlische bezetting van Palestina, zoals bepaald door het Internationaal Gerechtshof, en het stopzetten van alle partnerschappen — inclusief overheidsopdrachten — met bedrijven die medeplichtig zijn aan mensenrechtenschendingen en schendingen van het internationaal recht in de bezette Palestijnse gebieden;

● Ondersteuning van de onmiddellijke opschorting van het Associatieakkoord tussen de EU en Israël;

● Tenuitvoerlegging van alle arrestatiebevelen uitgevaardigd door het Internationaal Strafhof en vervolging, volgens de Belgische wet, van degenen die verantwoordelijk zijn voor oorlogsmisdaden;

● Het opleggen van gerichte sancties (reisverboden, bevriezing van tegoeden, verbod op financiële transacties) tegen individuen en entiteiten die medeplichtig zijn aan schendingen van mensenrechten en internationaal recht in het bezette Palestijnse gebied;

● Erkenning van de genocide in Gaza en het apartheidsregime dat aan het Palestijnse volk is opgelegd;

● Ondersteuning van de heropbouw van Gaza in overeenstemming met het recht op zelfbeschikking;

● Verdediging van de rechten van Palestijnse vluchtelingen in België, waaronder hun recht op vrije meningsuiting en vreedzame vergadering.

? De organisatoren roepen de deelnemers op om deze leuzen te respecteren en vreedzaam te demonstreren.

? Elke vergoelijking van oorlogsmisdaden, aanvallen tegen burgers of elke uiting van antisemitisme, islamofobie of enige andere vorm van racisme zal leiden tot uitsluiting van de manifestatie.

The fragile ceasefire that came into effect at the beginning of October is good news, offering a glimpse of the possible end to the absolute nightmare that has been ongoing for over two years in the Gaza Strip. However, no lasting peace will be achieved as long as the rights of the Palestinian people are not guaranteed — in particular, their rights to self-determination, return, and full reparations. No lasting peace will be achieved as long as Israel continues to issue and enforce settler-colonial apartheid practices. 

The Trump plan, praised by the international community, including Western countries such as Belgium, meets none of these conditions. On the contrary, it foresees the continued colonial tutelage of the Palestinians. Furthermore, Israel’s violations of the agreement’s terms — such as the continuation of bombings and the use of humanitarian blackmail as a weapon of war — are not conducive to stopping the genocidal process.

We therefore continue our mobilisation for justice for the Palestinian people, for as long as Israel’s illegal occupation, apartheid, and colonialism persist — and as long as those responsible for the genocide in Gaza and their accomplices have not been held accountable for their crimes.

The destabilisation of the region and the suffering of its people will not end with the signing of colonially inspired plans, but through concrete measures to compel Israel to fulfil its obligations :

- End of colonisation and dismantling all its settlements;
- End of the illegal blockade of Gaza and unrestricted access to humanitarian aid for its residents;
- Withdrawal from the occupied Palestinian territory;
- Dismantling of the apartheid system on both sides of the Green Line;
- Guarantee of the refugees’ right of return;
- Release of all palestinian prisoners held for political reasons;
- Compensation for Palestinian victims.

? Let’s gather for the national march on November 16 at 2 p.m., at Brussels North Station, to demand that the Belgian government:

● Impose, jointly with regional governments, a comprehensive military embargo on Israel, including the prohibition of any export, transfer, transit, or re-export of weapons, ammunition, technologies, and military equipment — whether direct or indirect — as well as any related services (research, etc.);

● Prohibit all trade or investment relations contributing to the maintenance of Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine, as stipulated by the International Court of Justice, and all partnerships — including public contracts — with companies complicit in human rights and international law violations in the occupied Palestinian territories;

● Support the immediate suspension of the EU–Israel Association Agreement;

● Implement all arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court and prosecute, under Belgian law, those responsible for war crimes;

● Impose targeted sanctions (travel bans, asset freezes, prohibition of financial transactions) against individuals and entities complicit in violations of human rights and international law in the occupied Palestinian territory;

● Recognize the genocide in Gaza and the apartheid regime imposed on the Palestinian people;

● Support the reconstruction of Gaza in alignment with the right to self-determination 

● Defend the rights of Palestinian refugees in Belgium, including their rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.

? Any glorification of war crimes, attacks against civilians, or expressions of antisemitism, Islamophobia, or any other form of racism will lead to exclusion from the gathering.
