deathcrash is een slowcore-kwartet uit Londen. De band volgt in de voetsporen van Zuid-Londense groepen als Black Country, New Road en Black Midi, maar onderscheidt zich door een discrete, bijna mystieke energie – een ingehouden intensiteit die tot uiting komt in composities met een grote emotionele finesse. Hun eerste album ‘Return’ uit 2022 legde de basis voor hun universum. Enkele maanden later verfijnt ‘Less’ – opgenomen in de afgelegen landschappen van de Hebriden – deze esthetiek: een meer uitgepuurde, gespannen en meesterlijk beheerste plaat, geprezen door Pitchfork, The Line of Best Fit en Brooklyn Vegan.
