Né à la fin des années 90 dans la scène hardcore du Massachusetts, Cave In s’est rapidement imposé comme l’un des groupes les plus aventureux de sa génération. Du metal abrasif de Until Your Heart Stops aux envolées psychédéliques de Jupiter, le groupe a toujours oscillé entre radicalité et expérimentation, refusant de s’enfermer dans un seul genre. Après une pause et la disparition tragique de leur bassiste Caleb Scofield en 2018, Cave In revient renforcé, porté par l’arrivée de Nate Newton (Converge, Old Man Gloom) et une envie intacte de bousculer les codes.

Cave In werd eind jaren ‘90 geboren in de hardcorescene van Massachusetts en vestigde zich al snel als een van de meest avontuurlijke bands van hun generatie. Van de schurende metal van ‘Until Your Heart Stops’ tot de psychedelische vluchten van ‘Jupiter’, heeft de band altijd geschipperd tussen radicalisme en experiment, en weigerde het zichzelf te beperken tot 1 genre.

Na een onderbreking en de tragische dood van hun bassist Caleb Scofield in 2018, is Cave In sterker terug, onder meer door de komst van Nate Newton (Converge, Old Man Gloom) en een onverminderd verlangen om de boel op te schudden.
