This month Noisegate are back in the house presenting the Korg PS-3300!

6:30pm - Synth meet. Bring in a piece of gear, share and chat hardware. 

Instructions on the synth share: Every synth meet, in the first hour, it's 'bring a synth to share'. It can be anything from a groovebox, drum machine, synth or any electronic music making box. Feel free to play with all the synths in the room, except for the live jam setup (should be in the middle of the room). There is a strictly "no drink over synths" policy. Unless it's your synth, in which case it's at your own risk! If you do plan on bringing gear (of any description) please get in touch so we make sure there is ample table space. Bring a pair of headphones as well please. Patrons also feel free to bring your own pair of headphones if that makes you more comfortable.

7:30pm - Live act David Apostol. David brings in his 2600M and hardware friends for his debut set at TSP synth meet.

8pm - Noisegate presents Korg PS-3300.

The Noisegate crew will bring in the PS-3300 for you to get your little mitts on! (access to the PS from 6:30-7:30pm. Before the live act.)

(8pm) Brett Little from Wizard will start his PS-3300 demonstration. Brett has been playing with his own PS-3300 at home and knows it better than anyone else we know in Naarm. Looking forward to hearing it belt out over the Howler system.

About the PS-3300: Between 1977 and 1981, the original PS-3300 carved out a legendary place in music history. With fewer than 50 units made, its lush, expansive sounds appeared on just a handful of recordings - making it one of the rarest and most sought-after synths in history. Today, original models are almost impossible to find, cementing its status as a true “phantom” of the analog world. Now, the legend returns. Bought to life by its original creator, Fumio Mieda, and the team behind Korg’s acclaimed revivals (ARP 2600 FS, miniKORG 700FS, and more), the PS-3300 is a faithful reproduction that blends meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail with modern reliability.
