Transit Creative Project (Summer)

Now in its eight year, the Transit Creative Project is one of Australia’s leading holiday intensives for dancers aged 12 – 25 who have an interest in furthering their creative ability.

Each project takes place over four days at Transit Dance Brunswick, with participants working with renowned Australian choreographers in a series of intensive workshops to create an original 20-minute work. These works are then presented onstage as part of a double bill at the conclusion of the week.

This Summer dancers can participate in either a Performing Arts (Jazz) Creative Project or a Contemporary Creative Project.

This unique and rewarding experience provides participants with insight into the creative process whilst fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Duration: 4 days

• Rehearsals: Tue 20 - Fri 23 January 2026 (9am to 4pm).
• Performance: Fri 23 January 2026(7pm).
• Location: Transit Dance, Brunswick, Victoria.

Contemporary Creative Project

Duration: 4 days

• Rehearsals: Tue 20 - Fri 23 January 2026 (9am to 4pm).
• Performance: Tue 20 - Fri 23 January 2026 (7pm).
• Location: Transit Dance , Brunswick, Victoria.
• Cost: $375.00 Early Bird Price: $300.00 if booked before 8 October 2025
