Brunswick’s largest undercover beer garden, featuring an on-site brewery by 4 Pines and a spicy food truck line up from Mr Burger, CDMX Taqueria & Dimmie Den

Chilli Market stalls from Melbourne Hot Sauce & Blonde Chilli featuring a vast array of fresh chilli, hot sauce, rubs, chips & more available to try & buy all day

All ages entry. Family & dog friendly. Large capacity spacious indoor/outdoor beer garden layout

COMPETITION DETAILS

24 brave competitors will battle it out for the eternal glory & everlasting fame of being crowned Melbourne’s ultimate chilli eating warrior.

This is a last human standing winner takes all KO event of epic proportions

2x heats – 1x final destruction round

The top 2 competitors from each heat will progress to a final KO round

Rounds will start off easy(ish) and get progressively harder & hotter

Rounds will vary from fresh pods to chilli spiked foods & drink, starting with Jalapeños, and progressing to Carolina Reapers and beyond!!!

Disqualification is by way of knock out, tap out, pass out or spew out

NO napkins NO gloves NO standing up

A pint of beer and a glass of milk will be provided to taunt you into tapping out

You will be given a spew bucket

You must eat whatever is put in front of you

Time limits per round apply

All judges decisions are final

Unfair & arbitrary decisions will be mercilessly enforced by head judge, Rich from Melbourne Hot Sauce & our MC legend YETI

You must sign an indemnity waiver before entering

Melbourne Chilli Eating Championship, sponsors & affiliates will not be held liable for injuries, death or destruction

All competitors must by 18+ & deemed to be of sound mental & physical standing

If any competitor is vegan/vegetarian or has any allergies whatsoever, they must stipulate upon application to the competition and we can accommodate you
