The yearly qualification covers tactical movement, defensive driving theory, protective formation drills, firearms proficiency, operational planning. This program blends classroom instruction with hands-on field exercises to replicate real-world conditions.

Practical Field Modules:
1. Formations: Single, Diamond, Box, and Modified Wedge.
2. Vehicle Operations: Load/Unload, Protective Driving Concepts.
3. Foot Drills: Embus/Debus, Principal Shielding, Crowd Control.
4. Firearms Qualification: Defensive Pistol & PDW.
5. Emergency Medical Response for EP (Basic)
Equipment & Supplies Checklist
- Duty pistol with holster (IWB/OWB as used on duty).
- PDW or rifle is applicable.
- Chest rig, fanny pack, or other carry methods used on duty.
- Ammunition: Sufficient quantity for qualification (~200 - 300rds).
- Eye and ear protection.
- Weather-appropriate clothing.
- Water, snacks, and personal medical kit.
