WildSpace Permaculture is joining the Mullumbimby Xmas Trail!
I’ll be at the Byron Community College from 2pm with a stall full of Permaculture food plants — rare and unusual perennial veggies that are hardy, productive, and keep giving year after year.
Expect the kinds of species that thrive in Permaculture and syntropic systems, including:
• a wide range of root crops — yams, taro, winged bean, jicama, cassava
• unusual edible and culinary gingers
• perennial legumes
• hardy leafy greens/ stems and shoots
• and plenty of other climate-resilient staples
If you’re keen to diversify your garden with useful, resilient plants that love the subtropics, come say hi! I’ll be there from 2pm and happy to chat all things plants, food systems and recipes!!
