Starting with a delicious cacao ceremony to soften our hearts We step into a new chapter A new cycle. The wheel has turned The days begin to grow longer Light is emerging. Join us to dance into this new beginning. A dance of connection, and meeting our inner light. How can we nourish and enliven our inner light? What can we do to rekindle or energise our inner light, our inner fire, our passion? Together with our sisterhood circle we cocreate a powerful unified field that amplifies and energises our intentions. Together we shine brighter. As we amplify our own light, we hold a prayer for women all over the globe to be empowered, free and safe. 5rhythms dance is a powerful movement meditation that supports us to come home to our body, open our heart and awaken our soul. As we follow our own creative movement from within, our mind begins to relax and the deeper dance of our soul emerges, opening our intuition, inner wisdom and truth. What to Expect: ? In the first dance wave we shed layers of what no longer serves us, empowered by the purifying energies of the full moon. Dancing on the full moon amplifies the clearing of veils around our heart and soul to invite the emergence of truth, clarity and connection to our inner knowing and wisdom. ? In the second dance wave we are more open and receptive to receive new energy, healing and inspiration from life, our soul wisdom and our inner knowing. We dance with what is present for us in this moment to move, to feel, and to heal. All who identify as women are welcome. No dance experience is necessary. Women who may be currently healing from chronic illness are especially welcome to join this healing field. If you cant dance for the whole time, you can take it at your own space and rest. She is passionate about the healing and transformative power of dance and has dedicated her life to embodiment as a healing art, as a participant, a dance facilitator and a film maker. She has been leading dance classes, workshops & retreats in Sydney, Melbourne & internationally for the past 25 years and is one of the pioneers of Conscious Dance in Australia cocreating the first conscious dance in Melbourne with Liat Lev in 2000. She is the director of Radiance Dance 5Rhythms a vibrant dance community in Sydney which has been running for 15 years. Michelle offers classes, workshops, womens retreats, and 1:1 dance movement therapy sessions. Michelle had the privilege of learning and working closely with Gabrielle Roth the founder of 5rhythms dance. Gabrielle invited her to direct all her teaching videos. She has made numerous award winning films about dance including "Dances of Ecstasy" a sensory journey into the world of trance and ecstasy experienced through dance and rhythm which features Gabrielle Roth.
