Explore the beauty of rope - of intuitive play, kinesthetic communication and the depth of experiences to discover therein.Steeped in traditions of Japanese rope bondage, this class will cover techniques, from that of a single-column tie to those of more complex patterns, and exercises of beautiful simplicity emphasising connective tying. The history and origins of Shibari are outlined, as well as a prerequisite safety discussion.This workshop is located on the first floor of the Alderman, above the front bar. Doors open 6.45pm for a 7pm start.**Note: this is a partnered class. If you see any potential in being uncomfortable being tied by other class attendees please ensure you bring a partner with you.**The workshop is open to people of all genders and orientations. Switching roles is most welcome.
