Session 1: After Suicide Loss
This session, led by Kim Nguyen-Finn, PhD, LPC-S - UTRGV lecturer and private practitioner is designed to raise awareness about suicide. The objective is for participants to learn how suicide affects survivors (family members, friends, and loved ones), current statistics, local resources, and treatment options available.

Session 2: Opioid Addiction and the Family
This session, led by Alexandra Ybarra - Behavioral Health Solutions of South Texas is designed to talk openly about opioid addiction. The objective is to raise the level of awareness of the causes and nature of the disease of addiction, its effect on the family, and how to reverse the opioid epidemic. Other information will include current statistics, local resources, and treatment options available.

Session 3: Panel Discussion – Mental Health and Family Wellness
This session, led by Juan Alvarez, LPC-S, LCDC, ASOTP; Noe Ramirez, PhD, LCSW; Elizabeth White-retired social worker, Jack White - social work instructor at UTRGV is designed to discuss the effect of mental health on family wellness and resources for families affected by mental health issues.
