Meet at the General Store
----------------------------------
Get ready to shake off the Thanksgiving food coma and join us for a peaceful morning walk led by Whitesbog Bird and Wildlife Photographers Bryan and Hunter and Landscape Photographer Aleja. Together we will blend two ways of seeing nature. The beauty of soaring birds and quiet wildlife and the wide open landscapes that frame the morning.
We will head out into the fresh morning air to enjoy the gentle morning light and move our bodies after a day of feasting. We will keep our eyes open for tundra swans, local wildlife, and maybe even an eagle circling above. At the same time we will take in the scenery around us. Reflections on the bogs, open stretches of trees, and the changing sky that makes Whitesbog so special.
Everyone is welcome whether your heart leans toward birds, landscapes, or simply being outdoors. Bring your camera if you have one or just enjoy the walk. Be sure to bundle up since the morning can be chilly.
There is no fee to join. Donations to the Whitesbog Preservation Trust are always appreciated and help support the care and preservation of this beautiful historic village and its wildlife habitats.
Let’s get up, get out, and move the body. A little nature is the perfect balance to Thanksgiving
