- **Event Description**: The Brookwood Masonic Lodge #509 will be hosting our second annual art auction to support our charitable giving this year.  The event is open to the public.  We would love to have everyone in the community come out and join us for this wonderful event for a great cause.  Every year we provide Christmas gifts for families in need in our community.  This will be the main source of funding for that project.  We also make donations to our local schools to fill needs that the children may have.  We support local sports teams and clubs.  We also provide scholarships to our local kids.  All of this is not possible without the support of the community.  

The art auction will also be an art contest.  We will have 5 different divisions and prizes will be awarded in each division.  The divisions will be Elementary, Middle and High School, we will also have an Adult division and a Senior Adult division.  Multiple submissions are allowed and encouraged.  The art may be any medium that you would like, painting, drawing, sculpture, photograph, etc.  Please keep the subject matter family friendly as this is a family event.  Submissions will need to be in by Wednesday November 19th.  Any member of the Lodge can bring your submissions in.  Our goal will be to sell all submissions to raise money.  All of the work will be sold by silent auction. Cash, checks, Venmo and Cash App will be accepted at the event.  We will also be glad to accept monetary donations the night of the event to our charitable fund.  

We hope this is a yearly event that our community is proud of and are looking forward to attending.  This will be a nice event and business casual dress is encouraged but not required.  Food will be provided, but anyone that attends is welcome to bring your favorite finger food, dessert or drinks.  Bring your family and tell your friends, churches, clubs and sports teams.  We want to have a great turn out to support this wonderful event and artists who are giving their talent to take care of others.  Everyone is welcome, come enjoy looking at some wonderful art and support your community by buying some to take home!
