- **Event Description**: If you’ve attended one of Chinsegut’s beginner archery classes and want to take your archery to the next level at one of our 3D archery shoots, this mentorship program is for you! In this program, we aim to pair up experienced archers with beginner archers who need or want assistance participating in our 3D archery course. This program is not just for kids, adults are welcome to sign up! Please note, if you sign up a child to participate, their parent or guardian is required to accompany them. You do NOT need to have your own archery equipment. We have compound and traditional style bows available to borrow.

Once registered, staff will verify your past attendance of a Chinsegut beginner archery class. We’ll then contact you to find out what type of bow you prefer to borrow or what type of bow you’re bringing.

On the morning of the shoot, participants are encouraged to arrive by 8:30am so they can meet their mentor and if necessary, get fit with the appropriate equipment before the 3D archery course opens at 9am. 3D archery ends when all participants have completed the course, or 1pm, whichever comes first. For more information on the 3D archery event, check out the link below. The recommended donation of $5 per participant under 16 and $10 per participant 16+ applies. Parents/guardians who are not participating are NOT asked to pay.

Chinsegut has one track chair available on a first come, first serve basis for people with mobility challenges. If you would like to participate in this program and feel like you would benefit from the use of the chair, please contact us to request an accommodation. Any person who requires special accommodation to participate should notify us at least two weeks prior to the event by calling 352-754-6722 or e-mailing Chinsegut@myfwc.com.
