A wine tasting exploring wild fermentation, natural wine, and spectrums of flavor!
Why does wine smell different than grape juice? What do cheese and coffee and compost and champagne have in common? What's the difference between boundary-pushing and flawed? And what is some language that we can deploy to describe what's happening in the glass, talk about what we like, and help us to find new delicious things to drink?
Class is hosted by James Sligh, a Brooklyn-based sommelier (and former EFL teacher — wine is just another foreign language) whose art and education project, the Children's Atlas of Wine, maps the people and places growing wine's futures.
Ticket includes six tastes and an hour and fifteen minute class with an interactive component.
Please note: We order wine based on how many tickets sell, and there are no refunds or ticket exchanges fewer than 7 days before the event.
