I started my landscaping company Serene Landscapes with a larger mission of bringing people closer to plants and inspiring more gardeners. I believe in designing gardens and landscapes that are diverse and engaging. Whether it is including edible species like blueberries or lavender in a landscape design, or bringing in lots of native plants to attract pollinators, it is my goal to create gardens that empower people to garden, grow, and take care of the earth. In this moment when we are so disconnected from nature, is too common that plants have become \"background\" to most people. This is why I believe in the importance of learning the names of plants, especially the generous, wild plants that are all around us and that can feed us. It is my goal to offer lots of free plant walks and workshops so we can reconnect with plants and be inspired to protect them!Find Serene Landscapes on IG at @serenelandscapes.ny" } ] } ] ```
