Talking with Children About Race and Culture

Community Schools and the PS 38 Equity Committee present:

Talking With Children about Race and Culture

Brian and Lurie Favors of Breaking the Cycle Consulting Services are back for a second year, with a new series...

This workshop will provide a recap of the previous sessions surrounding race, class and equity at PS 38.

Parent participants will be provided a forum to discuss these issues in detail while being introduced to practical strategies for engaging children in healthy discussions around race, class, culture and biases to ensure a more equitable school community.

Child care will be provided to workshop attendees by drop off at PTA Movie Night.
