The LDCENY and Brooklyn Public Library's Business & Career Center present the Start Smart Series: Fashion Your Future, Launch Your Brand. Start 2019 with these great presentations to help you accomplish your business goals!

All workshops will take place at the Brooklyn Public Library, 10 Grand Army Plaza, Info Commons Room, First floor, Brooklyn, NY 11238.

Map Your Fashion & Beauty JourneyJoin Sadia Seymour, fashion stylist and business counselor at Brooklyn Women's Business Center at the LDCENY, as she leads the discussion on how to jump-start your business for success in the New Year.

Up-cycle, Re-purpose and Design for a Sustainable FutureDiscuss zero waste design with none other than designers Zero Waste Daniel and Camille Tagle of FABSCRAP, the fabric reuse company. They will cover how waste affects you, designing fashions using scraps and what you can do to recycle your clothing.
