This edition of Soft Supper is inspired by Provence. Warm evenings, market-fresh produce, and a meal meant to unfold slowly, course by course, glass by glass.The evening begins with a welcome soft cocktail, followed by a series of shared dishes to start, then a three-course meal built around the rhythms of a Provençal table, local, seasonal, and full of sun-ripened flavor.Behind the glass: The welcome cocktail and shared-table pours are a collaboration between Soft Bar’s Richie and Audrey, while Wesley of Society de la Rassi curates the NA wine pairings that carry the meal from course to course. Expect extra fizzy spritzes and plenty of refreshing bubbles tableside, thanks to our friends at Maison Perrier.Cooking it all: Antonia, Soft Bar’s Director of Coffee + Concept and resident host, trained in a kitchen in Calabria and in the vineyards of Tuscany, and Magda, Soft Bar’s Sous Chef and a Brooklyn-based creative who fuses her Polish roots with the seasonal, local ingredients of her adopted home. Together, they’re building a menu that brings the south of France to Greenpoint.Dietary Restrictions: For this week’s supper, we can accommodate vegetarian diets.Drink with benefits.
