Salt Lot Compost Processing with Big Reuse

Learn about the magic of composting at our newly re-opened mid-scale community compost site!

We will be processing food scraps collected from our community drop-offs, maintaining our education corner with smaller compost systems, and taking care of miscellaneous tasks around the site.

Please dress comfortably, wear closed toed shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

We are located at 22 2nd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215, at the end of 2nd avenue. We are accessible by the F, G, and R train lines.

There is no public parking at the work site. You are not able to drive into the site. Please find street parking in the area.
