A note from El Local:
Dear friends outside of Puerto Rico,
We are humbled and thankful to all of you for inquiring about how you can help. We’ve fared better than most on the island and are now running at partial capacity. We have been closely collaborating with groups on the ground to support communities in need of immediate assistance. Meanwhile, we've set up a small, hands on, 100% volunteer powered community kitchen that provides daily breakfast, lunch and dinner free of charge to anyone that comes through our doors. Volunteers also offer survival, health and leisure workshops on a daily basis. We would like to continue and expand our community building and strengthening efforts for the remainder of the crisis and beyond. To help, you can send a small donation to our PayPal account: ZWxsb2NhbGVuc2FudHVyY2UgfCBnbWFpbCAhIGNvbQ==
, or our Venmo account, username: @ellocalensanturce
You can also send food and/or kitchen wares to: 1425 Fernandez Juncos Ave. San Juan, PR 00910 (FedEx and UPS appear to be working better than the USPS).
