Post-Brooklyn Half-Marathon Recovery Lounge with Spring Forward Physical Therapy

Join us for a Recovery session post race on Sunday, May 19th @ 10am with Spring Forward Physical Therapy! After the class we will have mimosas and bagels/fruit for participants, along with 15% off your purchase to participants (some exclusions apply.)

Join Dr. Danielle Weis, PT, DPT, OCS of Spring Forward Physical Therapy on Sunday morning May19th @ 10am for a workout you will not want to miss! This class will focus on building strength and stability throughout the hips and core, which is essential for runners of all ages, at all levels (from beginners to elite runners.) The hip and core muscles support the entire lower extremity and trunk during running and without strength and stability in these areas runners are more likely to injure themselves and experience episodes of foot, knee, hip and back pain. Come for a great workout and be ready to take your running to the next level! We will also be raffling off a free physical therapy evaluation ($200 value)!

About the instructor: Danielle Weis, PT, DPT, OCS is Spring Forward PT's senior staff physical therapist and FiDi clinical director. She received her doctorate in physical therapy from Columbia University and is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She volunteers with New York Road Runners and recently provided physical therapy at the finish line tent of the NYRR 2019 UA Half Marathon. She loves working with athletes to correct and treat the cause of their pain, improve their mechanics, and help achieve their performance goals."
