                "description": "Miriam Frances Stoner (soprano) is an Ohio Northern University alumna and earned her Master of Music in Voice Performance and Opera at the Cleveland Institute of Music. At ONU, she performed in scenes from Pirates of Penzance (Mabel), La Traviata (Violetta), and Carlyle Floyd’s opera Susanna (Susanna). She soloed with the ONU Symphony Orchestra,  Jazz Ensemble, and Men’s Chorus. Her CIM credits include Die Zauberflöte (Papagena), Alcina (Oberto), Dido and Aeneas (Spirit and Chorus), Der Rosenkavalier and Werther (Sophie). Stoner appeared with the Great Lakes Light Opera, in Alice in Operaland (Alice), Don Giovanni (Zerlina), and Le Nozze di Figaro (Susanna). She sang in Suor Angelica (Suor Genovieffa) with the Central Florida Lyric Opera, and participated in the Varna International Music Academy and the University of Miami Frost School of Music Program in Salzburg and Vienna, Austria. In New York, Miriam has sung \"Pie Jesu\" in Fauré’s Requiem and reprised the role of Papagena in The Magic Flute. She held solo engagements with the Westchester Oratorio Society in Mozart’s Requiem, Bach’s Cantatas Wir danken dir, Gott; Nun komm der Heiden Heiland; and Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme. She made her Broadway debut as Mama Judy in The Goldfish from Pluto. She sings  at Trinity, Grace Church Brooklyn Heights, Christ Church Pelham and the Larchmont Temple."
