I usually grow near the sea, where I make a light barrier between coastlines to protect sea turtles. I have round leathery leaves with reddish veins. New leaves start out with a reddish tint to protect me from the sun and eventually turns green. My sap is sometimes used to dye leather, and like my name suggests, my grape-like fruits are edible. Keep me in a location that has full to partial sun a few hours a day.Symbolism: In Feng Shui, the Sea Grape's vibrant round leaves and fruit clusters project a robust life force/energy.
