They are the most accessible form of wildlife, yet they are still incredibly misunderstood. Birds are facing catastrophic declines across the world and across all known taxa. In this webinar, we will explore the functional roles they perform in ecosystems, what factors are driving birddecline, the consequences of this decline, and how to support these wonderful and necessary creatures in our landscapes. The Director of Horticulture and Greenway Stewardship will also introduce the Naval Cemetery Landscape and BGI and talk briefly about the plantings and techniques that help create habitat here for over 90 oberved bird species in the year.
