Lesbian Herstory Archives and Dykes’ Day Out are co-hosting a Sapphic Solstice Celebration! The winter solstice is often recognized as the return of light, marking the point when daylight, after steadily shrinking, begins to lengthen again.
Join us at the Lesbian Herstory Archives on Sunday, 12/21, from 6:30-8:30 pm to design your own solstice rituals and portable Yule altars, learn about sapphic solstice practices throughout history, and set intentions for the New Year in queer community. We can’t wait to celebrate the rebirth of the Sun with you!
