Together, they’ll explore the historical ecology of Green‑Wood—what native species once thrived here and how the Cemetery’s restoration work is reintroducing many of these plants to create a living landscape that can regenerate, adapt, and support life in a changing city. The tour will culminate in a hands‑on opportunity to help remove ecologically harmful plants from Green‑Wood’s entrance meadow, contributing directly to the site’s ongoing restoration.Please note that if only 1 ticket shows as available during the registration process, that is the last ticket available.Before Registering, Please Note:Tickets: There is no need to print tickets! Attendees will be checked in by name.Where To Go: Check-in takes place at The Green-House at Green-Wood (750 Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11232).Accessibility & Safety: Walking tour routes cover hilly, grassy, and uneven terrain. This tour is not accessible for those using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and may be difficult for those with balance or other mobility issues. There is no place to sit down during the tour.
